What is needed to transfer pictures off of my Acer laptop?
I'm doing this offline, and am unsure if I can use a SanDisk to transfer the pictures onto. Either way though, I need to know the device that will allow me to transfer these pictures off my laptop media library. I have windows 7
Why does my acer laptop screen keep going black?
Iv had my laptop for a few years, now a couple of months ago, the screen went black for some reason so i sent it away and got it fixed, it came back working perfectly, But today, after truthfully using since 10am on and off till about 2 hours ago, i l turned it off for about an hour and came back to it not functioning properly, I turned it on expecting it to work like normal, and the light comes up to tell me its on, but the fan usually is noticable, but now its hardly working and the screen is remaining black.
Can the iPod headphones go with my Acer Laptop?
I have a built in mic in laptop and it stop working and my 1 yr warranty is up...can my iPod headphones with the mic work. Another question should I get a NEW Laptop of just buy a mic for it?
Webcam on acer laptop does not work?
so i have an acer aspire 5745i got an in built webcam which worked finebut now it doesnt work. the driver says your device works properly but when i start acer crystal eye webcam it says no video device recorded and then when i try to install drivers downloaded from the net it says the same thing that we cant find your video devicei tried disabling and enabling the driver i also uninstalled it and then it installed it by itself but it still does nt work so temme what should i do???
What should I do with this Acer laptop..?
See I was pretty desperate to replace my current laptop which is a netbook.. The screen is very small and it is very slow... So I hopped on ebay and I won this Acer Aspire 5100. The price was pretty cheap, and the laptop itself looks like its in pretty good shape. It was almost like a steal that price was so good. The seller listed it as repair or for parts and said the screen didn't work. I instantly knew what was wrong, so I replaced the inverter and the LCD, and to my surprise I got her to boot up. But now I notice that she suffers from the same problem pretty much ALL Acer Aspire 5100 series suffer from..The keyboard and touch pad as well as the USB does NOT work No matter what I do I cannot get it to work.. I cant get into BIOS after she posts and I cannot install windows or ubuntu because she boots off of the hd first. What should I do? Should I just retire the laptop to the garbage? Or keep trying... I'd hate to discover that I just paid someone to recycle a computer.Is there a fix for this? and do not suggest a PCMCIA usb card bus because thats useless to me because I don't have an os installed.I don't have 5k to spend on a laptop, and I'm pretty much broke.. So what should I do, toss the ol lappy to the recycle bin or keep trying to fix it?She's got 3gb of ram, And a new 130gb hd. Her specs are far better than my netbook's specs which was why I really want to get this laptop working.
Why won't my Acer laptop let me burn CDs?
I've been trying to burn CDs on my acer laptop and the CD drive will make this very loud buzzing sound almost like a drill and the laptop will freeze. Not even the CD drive will open when I press the button that pops the CD driver tray out that the CD has been placed on. It won't stop until it wants to than by all the songs they will say error and the computer will shut down and restart itself. What is going on and how can I fix this? I need this CD burnt for a project tomorrow.

Can someone fix my Acer laptop?
I accidentally dropped it today and when i try to turn it on, a white screen shows up and thats all it displays. I bought it about 2 years ago and i don't think it is covered under warranty or anything anymore. Is there any place that can help me fix the screen? I really don't have money for a new laptop and i need it asap for school.

Acer laptop windows 7 live movie maker microphone question?
I have an Acer Aspire 7741z laptop and I've tried to make a video using the laptop's webcam. It records O.K. except the sound, the sound is like I'm talking through a tin pipe or something and it's hard to make out what I'm saying. I know nothing about sound editing or video editing but I'd like to try video blogging so this a big obstacle. Can anyone help please?
