im looking in to getting a new laptop, i like the features that alieware offers like the facial recognition security, the high performance and customization, is there any other company similar to alieware that is a little cheaper

Ive bought one from the internet and it was advertised as a replacement for my make and model. The only thing is it is 20 volts and my old one is only 19. I know 1 volt difference is not much and isnt likely to do any damage, but could this really be the correct replacement if the voltage is different,thanks

I re-installed the windows 7 disk that came with my alienware laptop and now i cant find how to restore it?

Is alienware laptop good enouh for gaming, or do i need to add the expensive extras to it ?

Dell XPS Studio 8000 OR Alienware Laptop m15x?
Hi, I am looking to buy a DECENT GAMING PC and i see dell have a fairly good deal on the XPS Studio. It has free postage, 276 winter sale off and I have a 10 % discount code. some components are 8192MB 1067 MHz Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM 4x2048 Intel Core i7 860 2.80GHz, 8MB, L3 Cache 750GB Serial ATA 7200RPM Hard DriveSingle 1GB Nvidia GeForce GTS 240 Graphics CardThis comes to 800 which i think is pretty neat. Although i am also tempted with the Dell Aleinware m15x Laptop. Is this more powerful just am not sure as it is a laptop? The laptop would also be an extra 300. Would an Alienware laptop be a good first laptop?
I'm not a hardcore gamer, and I know that's what Alienware is for, but I want a good laptop for college.I've read things about them being good and bad, just looking for an answer straight up if I should waste money on an Alienware or just go for a normal Dell? If it helps any, I'm taking Environmental and Criminal Justice courses.... that's why I want a good laptop.Would it be worth spending the $800 on Alienware or is there another cheaper alternative?
Can the best Alienware laptop run a high end game in MAXIMUM settings?
Just wondering if purchasing the best Alienware laptop with most memory, best videocard they have available for a laptop, etc. is capable of running the newest PC games at the highest settings for example Bioshock 2 . I know that the best laptop that they offer would come out to like 5K, but is even THAT able to run the game at maximum settings without crashing or having to run at a low frame rate.
