Question: Alienware laptop freezing after running advanced system cleaner?

So I was looking at this thing called advance system cleaner thats supposed to help make your pc run smoother but I ran it and mid- way of it my computer froze, I think it was scanning registry and doing something with that but after that point my laptop has been freezing every 10- 30 minutes randomly and It's really irritating, I'm about to send it in for a replacement because I've tried system restore, I've tried reinstalling windows using alien respawn running registry scans / cleans and i'm not really sure else that I can do. Please help me fix my laptoppp

Why would you use that?! be careful, you'll have to get a proper virus scanner program (from a shop or somewhere reliable) to see if it has put a virus on your computor.

If you've reinstalled Windows then it's a hardware fault. Here's what I would do - boot up your laptop in 'Safe Mode' by pressing F8 continuously before Windows has even started to load. IT will show you a black screen with white text, telling you to pick an option and you should pick 'Safe Mode'. This will load up your system without any drivers or gimmicks that can cause it to crash. If it crashes in safe mode, then the bottom line is that it's most likely a hardware issue or something wrong with the core of Windows. What I would do is get rid of ASC and use a tool called 'RegCure'. I've been using this cleaner for a few years and it's been great. You can read about it at fastregistryfixes.com/ best_registry_cleaner_tools.html You should also try reinstalling Windows with a proper CD. Try lending it off a friend or something - technically you've 'bought' Windows because it came with the laptop so you may even want to download a copy off the Internet which I don't think would be illegal in your case. If that doesn't work then it's a hardware problem and you should get AlienWare to fix it.

Hey i have a Alienware laptop area 51 M7700 and i need help!! i didnt get the respawn kit with it and i wanted to know if u be willing to copy the cd and send me the folder/ or files to me by email??? PLEASE I NEED IT!! thanks Dean
