Where to buy apple laptop battery online?
My apple laptop battery is not operating correctly.?
I WENT TO THE APPLE STORE AND BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY FOR MY APPLE LAPTOP AND IT WONT CHARGE SO I HAVE TO PLUG IT IN TO USE IT AT ALL TIMES IF IT IS THE BATTERY SETTINGS CAN SOMEBODY HELP?

How dangerous are Apple laptop batteries?
My mom recently read an article about a guy who left his laptop charging on his bed or something and the whole thing caught fire and burned his house down. Now she's gotten super paranoid about us leaving our laptops on the couch, on the bed, etc., anywhere where there's fabric.I couldn't find the actual article itself, but I did find out that lithium ion batteries had been recalled in 2006 for Dell laptops.Now I'm not an expert on batteries or Apple laptops, but my laptop ALWAYS cools down when I put it to sleep or turn it off, regardless of whether it is charging or not. I put it to sleep or shut it off when I think it's getting even a bit overheated. So I am wondering, is it really that likely to blow up? Can I tell my mom that it's something she doesn't need to worry about? Cited sources are really, really appreciated.
