Question: How do i reboot my asus laptop without the recovery disk?

One day my asus laptop turned off all by itself now it turns on but just stays on the microsoft corporation screen and doesn't go any where it just stays locked on that screen my friends said that i need to put the reboot cd in and it would be fine but i don't have the reboot cd

What you need is the recovery cd witch has the windows operating system
