Choosing A Laptop Homepage

Question: Asus laptop or gateway laptop?

Which is better? http:/ / www.tigerdirect.com/ applications/ SearchTools/ item- details.asp?EdpNo=6008467 &sku=S445- 150054 OR http:/ / www.tigerdirect.com/ applications/ SearchTools/ item- details.asp?EdpNo=6491173 &sku=M975- 150047 they are both super thin and light laptops and have more or less the same specs. Should i go with the asus or the gateway? Thanks in advance!!! Gateway is a little bit thinner than the other. 1in compared to 1.08. and asus has 500 GB hard drive and gateway 320GB. Also both have 8 hr battery

Without really looking at them, all things being equal, i take asus over gateway in a hearbeat. Asus has a pretty solid rep as a good laptop company, gateway is a little more shaky.

If I had to choose, I would definitely take the Asus!! I like the DDR3 in the Gateway, but that is the only thing I like about the Gateway more than the Asus!! I like the battery life of the Asus better, the Core 2 Duo over the dual core, the bigger hard drive space in the Asus, and everything else is pretty much the same!! So yeah, if I had to choose, I would take the Asus!! Best of luck with which ever one you choose!!
