Weird sound from ASUS laptop?
I recently bought an ASUS laptop, and it has been making weird sounds. Randomly, it would make a small rumbling noise for about 10 seconds the sound is like when you insert a disk and it is running and after about 10 seconds, it makes a slight noise that sounds like a pur or a fart. It goes on over and over for at least 10 20 minutes. How can I fix this?

I cleaned my laptop the other day, i even cleaned the fan inside it.Then after i wanted to see if its working normal, but i couldnt start it, because it went Windows Error Recovery screen, i have options to that don't work i tried everything .I have a recovery disc, but dunno how to restart my computer and let the recovery disc work, since it stays on the windows error recovery screen no matter what i do, Dit wont even boot in safe mode, or any other modes.What is BIOS?????

Changing desktop background on Asus laptop?
I just got a new Asus laptop don't ask me what model, I just know it's small 10" screen and pink and white and no matter what I do I can't seem to change the desktop background. I've tried going into Display> Desktop> Change Desktop Background and changed it and nothing. I've gone directly to my pictures file folder and right clicked on the desired picture and tried to change it that way. Nothing. Every other computer I've ever been on or had hasn't been a problem so now I'm just royally confused. Is the desktop background locked? Can I unlock it, so to speak, and change it? Or is there an all new trick to Asus laptops netbooks that I don't know about?
