Choosing A Laptop Homepage

Question: What is the best laptop for a gamer to buy?

I want to but a laptop but i am not sure what i should get. i have a compaq Presario and it just doesn't have enough memory any more so i need a new one. i play WOW and some other games and just need a comp that will have enough memory and a good enough video card to play it. my price range is from about $600 - about $900. i just need a good comp for less than 900 dollars.(also must have a DVD burner and built in webcam)

Dont get any from apple, they use cheap components in their books.

Get a dell studio notebook. Do not get a dell inspiron ( their specs suck) I dont know much about other companies as far as quality other than Apple (I figure that is out of question since you want to play games and due to your budget) So I would go with dell. I have heard horrid things about gateway so it may be best to stay away from them. Sony is a decent enough brand (my dad has one) and Toshiba looks to have decent build quality. But as far as hands on experience goes I would rank for overall use Apple >Dell >Hp and for gaming Dell >HP >Apple Additional Info... You will want DDR3 Ram At least a Core 2 Duo (I believe they may have been rebranded as core i3... correct me if im wrong though) A dedicated Graphics Card (NOT Integrated even though some Integrated ones are OK)

Hey dalton if u r not in a tight budget then go with dell.THE ALIEN WARE this is rocking lappy.this will fulfill all ur gaming needs.this comes with latest core i7 processor nd ram 16 gb nd hd500 gb so best of luck nd der is no comparison for alienware. it is gamers choise..

HP dv6t from HP site, you can get it with a quad processor and top 1GB video card within your budget.
