A Dell 10.1 inch Inspiron Mini It's a netbook, so it's small, but you can't expect much with $350. A netbook is all you can really get with that money. Average size laptops start at $428 at Walmart. There are even netbooks that are more expensive than $350. I'm not saying that netbooks are bad. My school gave every one of the 8th graders netbooks to use on loanand they are great. Mine's pretty fast and it's very portable. The only drawbacks from netbooks are that they are downright puny, they have very low battery life, and the keyboard is small. If a netbook will suit your needs, then get one, but if you want a traditional size laptop, you have to raise your spending limit. Assuming Walmart has the lowest priced traditional laptop, you will need at least the $428 mentioned above. There is one $428 laptop: the Acer 15.6 " Aspire. If you don't have any specific need for a laptop, this will be perfect. Netbooks are great, though. Also, the cheapest netbook is an Acer 10.1 " Aspire. My advice is to go to best buy and have a salesperson find the best laptop for you. If you give them your price range, they will help you find the laptop or netbook of your dreams. I hope I helped! |
