Question: Free or cheap laptop computer?

Does anyone know where i can get a free or cheap laptop computer? I am a junior in high school and I will need one for college.......

You can get reasonably priced computers on ebay. But be aware that buying second hand laptop computers can be a hit and miss venture. There are many good ones out there but sometimes you can get a dud. Laptops are more prone to having been knocked or dropped. Some suggest never to buy laptops second hand. Desktops are a different story. My suggestion would be to work through the summer and get yourself a new one. There are reasonably priced brand new laptops out there. Have a look at the dell site, they start under $500 or you can get a good refurb at many places. Good luck with college.

Honestly, they are hard to come by but you might want to look at the free section in CraigsList...in your area.... Good luck to you though!

I don't think you will find a free laptop out there ,but tigerdirect.com has got some nice refurbished ones for a reasonable price.

Just buy an asus eee pc, you can get them for like $100 or even less now.
