My compaq laptop wont turn on due to lack of power.the cord does not seem to be connecting correctly.any ideas?

ok well yesterday i was watching a move on it. so then i left it on the whole night while i slept. then the next morning i turned it on seemed it had been frozen so i just turned it off. tunred it back on didnt work. so i just let it cool down. so as it was cooled down i turned it back on it turned on then it went to the loading windows page it loaded but then it doesnt go on it just shows a black blank screen. if you know what to do i would really appreciate it.

I have a compaq presario CQ60 laptop and it was working fine untill yesterday, the battery went dead and powered off, so i put it on charge, at first it would not charge and after leaving it for a few hours the light indicating its charging came on. I tryed to power on my laptop and nothing happened.. when I try to turn on by the power button, the Lightning symbol light flashes 3 times? does anyone know what this means? or what i can do to get it to work again? I tryed taking the battery out for 30 seconds then holding the powe button down but that didn't work either.Any other suggestions?

My Compaq Laptop Wont turn on past a blue screen HELP PLZ!?
I have a compaq R100 LAPTOP that my dad bought back from Iraq a few months ago when he was visiting. And after a while it stopped working so we had to buy a whole new charger and that worked for a while then it stopped working again. it would never come on until a few days ago. But now the problem is when I turn it on, it'll start normally and then this blue screen comes up and says windows has been shut down. Unammountable boot volume. whatever that means I dont know to fix it. I dont have a disk for the computer, just the comp and a charger.... Can SOMEONE, ANYONE PLZ HELP ME TO FIX THIS STEP BY STEP SOMETHING. IM NOT LOOKING TO SPEND ANYMORE MONEY

Alright so I was on my Compaq laptop and everything was going perfectly fine, I had it charging and all. Suddenly it turned off on its own, and it wont turn back on anymore. I tried charging it all day but its still the same. Pleaseeeee help? Thank you soon much in advanced.

Compaq laptop wont turn on but charging light is on !?
I have a Compaq Presario F700 . At night i usually turn off & unplug my laptop & put it on my desk . Then in the morning i plug it in & turn it back on & it has works fine .This morning i went to plug it in , the charger light came on so i pressed the power button as i normally would But this time it didn't start up . I then took out the battery because i figured it could run on ac power . But it still did not turn on . I checked my charger to see if maybe it broke . But it worked fine with our other laptop .Is there anything else i could do ? I have alot of important documents & pictures on my laptop . Im really hoping i don't have to trash it . . .

Does anyone know how to fix this. My laptop will not turn on, when i press the power button it just flashes and so does the light by the ethernet port. The fan does not start and the screen stays blank. Even when the power button is not pressed it flashes every few seconds. I know it isn't the battery or the charger because both have been replaced and the warranty on it has finished. It is a compaq presario cq62 and it runs on windows 7. Getting a new laptop is not an option as i'm a student and have little income.

I have a Compaq nc6220 that recently stopped working.It was just running, then it shut off by itself. I then tried turning it back on, but it wouldnt.I removed all the component, and put them together, and now all I get is the green battery charge LED flashing constantly..and yes, I have tried it with and without the battery, and with and without the power adaptor, and yes I discharged the capicitors for 30 seconds before each attempt

Compaq laptop wont turn on.?
I have a compaq laptop that is two years old. It has vista basic on it and has been running slow ever since i had the wireless card repaired. Now when plugged into the charger it wont turn on at all. The only thing that happens is that the small lightning bolt on the bottom left flashes temporarily then goes out. Any idea?
