What program to use while writing a paper on compaq laptop?
i want to write an outline and needed to know what program to use on my compaq laptop intel celeron and window 7 included to write my paper. thanks
My compaq laptop is 7 days old and decided it hates me...?
my laptop is brand new and everything was working fine on it last night. i woke up this morning and signed on, and my internet wouldnt work right. it takes 20 minutes to load a page and almost every time it tells me i cant access it or something. i tried rebooting it but its just the same. EVERYTHING on my computer works BUT the internet. i cant even download the flash player. i have full internet, but its acting like i dont. please help i dont know that to do anymore. i just wasted 0ver 300$ on it last wednesday it doesnt work with any internet i ise. and plz dont comment stuff that wont help. not very helpful.
Why won't my compaq laptop connect to the Internet with my wireless router?
I just bought this compaq laptop off Craigslist last night, he had it connected to the Internet when I got there everything was fine. When I try to connect to my wireless network net gear it says there's limited to no connectivity. When I troubleshoot it says there is something wrong with my router, all other laptops and wifi enabled devices are functioning properly with no problems. There is a Cisco wireless card in the lap top. Any help would appreciated thank you

Is 60 celsius normal for a 2 yr old compaq laptop?
My computer is two year old.Since I had overheating issues 60 75 I gave my laptop for service.They said they cleared the air vents replaced the thermal paste.Even after the service its around 55 65 for normal usage and 65 80 while playing games.So I returned my laptop to the same service company again.They said this temp is normal,and it wont affect other parts of the laptop.they said this heat is due to gfx card.Is this temp normal or should I ask them to service it again

Compaq Laptop keeps prompting Replce the battery!?
My daughter laptop is an HP Compaq 615 installed with Win 7 Home Premium and is about 8 months old, i.e. should be still under the 12 months manufacturer warrenty period. To day it is always prompting with " Your battery needs to be replaced" and with a CROSS adjacent to the battery ICON on the Task Bar. However despite that, it appears that the laptop's battery is still accepting charge fine, i.e. with its percentage increasing with time to 100 % eventually. However my gut feeling is tht laptop working time is comparately LESS now when working just on the battery. Could it be a sign of its battery degradation and needs replcaement?? Or it is something else?
