Is there a cite i can compare laptops to purchase?
i am trying to find the cheapest laptop i can with what i need, im not meaning crappy, i have the requirements i want but i need a way to compare between many models of dell and compaq and gateway and wateveri want to find the best laptop for my needs.is there a cite that i can do this with, like with airlines i know u can, do they have one for computers?

Is there a website to compare laptops?
I mean one where I can put in minimum and maximum screen resolutions, hard drive sizes, screen sizes, processors, operating systems, weights, number of USB ports, card readers, etc... and it will show me which ones most closely meet my needs?It appears that manufacturers are slowly getting closer to building what I want. ... But there are so many models to look through.

How to compare laptops?
I will not be headed off to college until next Fall I have to complete my senior year of high school first . I want to learn and understand a little more about computers by that time however. I am not sure how to compare which laptop would be best for me. Does anyone know how to explain computers to me or have a website that would be able to explain what I should look for in a laptop? Price is not a major concern at the moment, just the laptop's abilities. Thanks for the help

I'm looking to buy a higher end laptop from one of these three brands Dell 15z , HP Envy , or Toshiba still browsing . What are general differences between these companys? Most reviews I've read are negitive, and almost always partain to customer service issues or petty things like having no number pad. I'm mostly looking for something that will be useful for school store music a small bit of low graphic gaming and last a good while.I'm a PC kind of person.The only brand of computer I have a good amount of experience with is emachines which are well enough for the first two months, but you get what you pay for with them.

Does anyone know if the Gateway's 2.26GHz processor and Nvidia 9800 GTS graphics card will make a noticable difference in terms of performance with more demanding PC games over the HP?I'd also love to hear some suggestions if anyone knows of laptops that might offer better specs in the same price range or similar specs for less money.

Hi, I am looking at buying laptops, and I want to keep it at $400 total or under, and am looking at a 2.2GHz single or dual core processor vs a core 2 duo 1.73GHz processor the intel core 2 t5300 processor . Would the the core 2 duo 1.73GHz processor be as fast or faster than the 2.2GHz dual or X2 dual core processor? They also have about the same ram, 2 or 3 gigs installed, and win 7 or vista. I am looking at an ASUS versus a Macbook. The ASUS seems to be more focused on games, but I have heard the Mac's graphics card isn't that good and some games aren't compatible with it. What are some advantages and disadvantages of each? I would be using this laptop for one or two games but mostly music and photos, also for school. I'm looking to buy a laptop on Black Friday and am aiming to spend around or under $300.Basically, I use my laptop for web browsing and writing papers on word documents.
