im searching for battery for my dell inspiron 1440 in chennai
How do I know which of these dell laptop batteries are the best?
My laptop battery is basically dead so I have to buy a new one. It says that I can only replace it with Dell battery module type GW240, RN873, GP952, M911G or X248G. I googled them but I haven't found anything to tell me which one is the best lasts the longest. I really have no clue when it comes to computers S any help would be appreciated.
Question about my Dell Laptop Battery?
I have a Dell Inspiron Switch Laptop. I have heard that if you leave you laptop plugged in all the time that it kills your battery life. I looked at the Dell website and it read that new Dell batteries are made with special controls to turn off the battery after they are fully charged. Even with this feature, will it still kill my battery? Anyone has this laptop and or ever had your battery die decrease at all?

until i get a new battery is it okay or not to keep the battery in the laptop? Will it damage my laptop? Also The Other Dell laptop battery that i use to use only charges 1 % and never goes any higher. Dell Laptop battery light blinking red AND green?
I have a Dell laptop, and I have no idea what the model or anything like that is.But it has 3 little icons that light up a power icon, a battery icon, and a battery charging icon. The battery charging icon blinks red 4 times and then green 1 time, and then repeats. When I take the battery out, the charging icon stops blinking annoyingly and the regular battery icon blinks green occasionally, but it doesn't bother me. This started happening recently, and I haven't done anything wrong. The only cause that I can think of is that I have been using the laptop very often for very long periods of time. I tried to take the battery out and put it back in, and also replug the charger, but it doesn't stop except for when I completely take the battery out It's getting really annoying...is there any solution to this besides having to get a new battery?Thanks in advance.
Dell laptop battery charges even after shutdown?
I brought Dell Inspiron with 6 cell Li Ion battery. Instructions say that I need to charge the battery for atleast 12 hours before I use it on battery power. 12 hours is much longer time. Do I need to power on the laptop for the whole time? or can I keep it shutdown sleep hybernate for the time I connect the A C charger to it while it is still charging?..please help.

Is there a way to force a dell laptop battery to charge?
Basically my power supply was invovled with a flood and is shot. If i'm lucky i will have a replacement friday. I NEED my laptop for work though. Currently using a 90 watt power adapter from an old lap top, but my computer wants a 150 watt. So it won't charge the battery and is running on slow mo. I love for it to charge while its off and then run off battery while on.
