Can i use a 19.5v 3.34a dell laptop charger in replacement for a 18.5v 3.5a hp laptop charger?
my hp laptop charger burnt out and doesnt work but my husband has a dell laptop and the charger is the same except that my hp is a 18.5v 3.5a charger and his is a 19.5v 3.34a charger. is it ok to use his charger or will it mess up my computer? is it to much power? and could it harm my computer to use a 19.5v 3.34a charger when my original charger was only 18.5v 3.5a? Please let me know someone i dont have the money to buy a new charger but i surely dont want to buy a new computer cause i fryed it thanks

Hi my charger stopped working and i was told to send my lap top and my charger back and that they'd look through my laptop to see if it's the lap top when i know it's the fucking charger cause the blue light doesn't turn on and fix a loose button. But i am afraid to send my laptop cause i am afraid they'd fuck up things i have saved. Dell Laptop Charger question?
Ok so a i have a dell inspirion 630 m laptop, and about 3 months ago my charger started to mess up meaning when i plug it the light in the charger turns green but when i connect it to my laptop the laptop would recognize it but the battery wont charge, today out of sudden my laptop went off while the charger was plugged, i checked the charger and it was connected and the light was green but the laptop didn't recognize it, however when i borrowed a friend's charger everything was perfect the laptop recognized it and the battery was charging, ok so the question is what's wrong with my charger and can it be fixed cause i am short on money at the moment and don't want to buy a new one.I live in Egypt so unfortunately Ebay is not a possibilty

Okay so, last week my laptop charger ripped completely. I didn't notice it starting to rip until it actually did. So yesterday I bought a new laptop charger the exact same one as the original but it wouldn't charge my laptop whatsoever. So today I went back to the shop to ask them what was wrong bringing my laptop with me of course and they said that the problem isn't the charger but the laptop itself. They offered to repair it but I would be better off buying a new laptop rather than paying the same price just to get it fixed. I'm still reluctant to whether I should get it fixed or not and still find it hard to believe that my laptop is the problem and not the charger because I had no previous problems with the laptop. Is there any solutions as to what I should do? Or a quick repair guide of some sort?

So I have a Dell Inspiron, and it's all good, the laptop machine itself is top rate. However the charger has broken a number of times, leaving me no option to replace it a number of times.The error message is 'The charger is not recognised and may not charge your battery' This actually means it will power it but not charge it, I'm currently about to buy my 8th charger as it's meant to be portable but when i have to shut down to prevent hard drive damage every time it isn't really...Any suggestions are the transformers replaceable?thanks
Can a Dell laptop charger be used to charge an hp laptop?
4 years ago I bought a bell laptop, and for a year it hasn't been in use because I got a new hp laptop. Recently, I lost the charger hp provided, and I was wondering if the charger that bell provided with my old laptop could work with the hp laptop. They can both fit into the slot. About a Dell Laptop Charger, is the shape of the ac plug important?
A friend needs a charger for his laptop and he was wondering if the shape of the ac input is important. The old one has an octagon shape see picture , netbooksmalllaptops.com dell laptop charger.htmlbut he finds ones that are oval shape. I know the octagon shape cord will fit, but I was curious why do they make this shape. The cord reads 125 volts at 7 amperes.
