Dell laptop computer windows 98, how can i just upgrade to wndows xp?
how do i upgrade it with windows xp,i have windows xp disc, what exactly do i need to do to solve this issue, when i try to click on my internet explorer i get no connection,any help welcomed what to do so i can be able to connect to internet,windows 98 outdated,please help with what to doplease be specific as to what to do
A Question About My Dell Laptop Computer?
I have an Inspiron 1564 Dell laptop computer and over the past two to three days, it has been running slower and shutting down unexpectedly in the middle of programmes. I strongly believe that this is due to overheating due to dust collecting in the fan compartment. Therefore, I ve been trying to remove the base covering to clean the fan compartment with compressed air, but am unable to because the top part containing the keys and the touchpad is too tightly attached to the base covering. Could someone please tell me how I could remove the base covering as well as what the other potential factors are that might be causing this problem?
How long does it usually take a Dell laptop computer to arrive?
I ordered my Studio 15 on Friday, 5 21. The ETA is 6 7. That's over 2 weeks. I know dell leaves buffers in their ship times, and build time is included in that wait, but it's a popular model. I would expect it to take only about a week. Are living in CA and Free shipping contributory factors?
How much will a 3GB program slow down a 25.43 GB Dell laptop computer?
3 GB and 1 GB if RAM to be exact among other system requirements. The program is Adobe Flash cs4 or 5 depending on which trial I choose if that helps. Dell laptop computer help?
OK so I have a refurbished Dell Latitude d610. It has two major problems first it has a sleep hibernation problem. After the screen saver goes on it never goes to sleep with just the black screen. Also when I shut the physical lid of my laptop it goes to a black screen but when you open it up again it won t turn back on and you have to restart it via the power button to get it to wake back up. I have looked it up in my control panel under power options. In advanced there is a drop down button that asks what I want to do when I close the lid of my computer but the only option is do nothing I m out of ideas. Is there something I m over looking? The second problem is every couple of days I get a blue screen. I have NO idea what is wrong with it, I ve tried running scans but after installing two other virus scanners I am not sure it is still a virus. Two days ago I got the blue screen twice, then nothing yesterday, then another one today. It seems random to me, is it? I would really like to not crash my computer. So if you have any ideas for either of these problems please give me an answer.Thanks

I have had a Dell Inspiron for about a year and a half now and every time I have it on it makes a rattleling sound. Is that something that can be fixed because it can get very annoying. Or does it mean I run my computer too much. Any advice would be great. Thanks.
Can't log onto my Dell laptop computer?
When I press the start button it shows the " XP is loading" image, then the log in window appears. However, I can't log into my computer for either the administrator account or the guest account. Dell laptop computer problem?
I have a 2007 dell laptop computer. I am currently in Italy using a simple adapter to plug it into the wall but no converter. I've been here for a month and have had no problems until now. First, whenever my power cord was plugged in, after a few seconds my screen would go really dark. Now, even when I boot it up sans power cord, it still goes dark after it starts up. You can still see everything on the screen, but just barely. I can only see enough to power it down. Does anyone know what may be causing this how I can fix it?
