Ebay laptop batteries?
So, I've seen the videos on youtube of what happens when a lithium ion battery ruptures, and to be honest it's a technology I really wish would just get shelved but it's here to stay. What I want to ask is, is it safe to buy a generic laptop battery from an Ebay seller? I've been told that many of these come from the same factories as the OEM I don't really believe that, but the price is right. Does anyone here have any experience with generic ebay batteries? Please share the good and the bad about them.I'm looking specifically for a Dell CPx PPX if that makes any difference. My real issue is if it goes bad, by the time I've bough 2 of them I could have bought an OEM battery. Thanks
