How do you extend laptop battery life?
I used to have good battery life but right now my laptop is at 32 % and has 13 minutes left. Any suggestions on how to extend the power stored in my battery?
What is the best way to extend laptop battery life?
Ok, so recently I bought a vaio paptop which I plan to use in college. I want to extend the battery life as much as i can. Right now I've left the batteries charge at 40 % and am using just the power. Is that a good idea? What else can I do?

How to extend laptop battery life?
I bought a HP pavilion dv8000 refurbished and one of the first things I noticed was that even through normal web browsing with no unnecessary programs open, the battery would only last about an hour. I knew that having a 17" screen would lower battery time but i didn't think it would be so much. Will it always be like this no matter what battery i use because of the big screen, or will buying a better battery help me out?
What are some tips on how to extend laptop battery life?
I just bought a new Toshiba laptop after my old one practically died on me. After two years, my old one could only survive without it's power cord for about a minute or so. I've read several sources saying to fully charge the laptop when you first get it and then let it drain completely to hibernate mode, then recharge it fully again. My dad first used the laptop when I was gone so I have no idea if he completely charged it but the meter looked full so right now I'm in the process of letting it die down. I've also set the power plan to power saver. Are there any other things I can do to extend my laptop battery life? When using it at home, do I leave it plugged in at all times or would it be better to have a cycle where I let it drain then fully charge again? Also, let's say that I want to take a break from my laptop for about 15 20 minutes. Would it be best to just turn it off, put it on sleep, or hibernate?
Extending laptop battery life?
I'm going to go on a plane later this month, and I'll be on there for about 3 or more hours. My laptop battery only typically lasts for an hour at the most, and I'm sure I'll want to use my laptop during the entire ride. Obviously, there are no power sources that I can access on the plane, so how can I make my battery last longer? I'm not wanting to buy anything, or even download anything, but if that's the only way possible, I'd rather download something than to purchase anything.I guess I am willing to purchase something if it is cheap enough.
Extend laptop battery life when not in use - Keep plugged in or no?
If I do not use a laptop often, is it better for the battery to leave it plugged in or no?
Extend laptop battery life?
I have read it numerous times on different tech sites that you can extend the battery life of your laptop in case of using it for longer hours 8 hours continuous they way you do it is to first charge it for 40 % and then take it out make sure your laptop is powered off store it in cool place....and then conect your laptop directly with ac current....use it more like a desktop replacement....is this viable if yes how does it work in case of t410 lithium ion battery laptops? thanks
Extend laptop battery life.?
I have been told that I should remove my laptop battery when the computer is running on ac. I can find little on the 'net to support this theory. Has anybody else heard this?
