Question: When do year 9 2010 get there free laptops from the government?

I live in Australia also and have heard about that. According to the news, the schools with help from the government are going to fund you a laptop, but you need to pay to bring it outside of school. If you don't pay, you can only use it in school. I know, I know, they make it better than it seems...but you can also use it for personal use if you pay.. :-)

12 months after the year 9 students got it last year - it is school specific. Dont get too excited - its set up that only authorized websites can be viewed and no download of applications (games). Its just for work,
