Year nines in qld are getting free laptops from the rudd government, does anyone know what brand/ type they are ?

Don't get too excited...it's still the school's property. You need to pay to use it out of school, and they still put filters, etc. As for what brand, It really depends..since we're in Australia and not America, it's probably not going to be Apple..probably dell, acer or hp :-)
