Choosing A Laptop Homepage

Question: I got a free laptop its a compaq lte elite 4/75cx does anyone know how to get it online don't see a phone jack?

Well theres no phone jack plug in or eathernet plug in either Does it take a internet card or what?

You will probably need an external modem to get connected to the Internet.

If it is old... which it sounds like it is, it will not have an Ethernet jack. i think you can use a usb cable to connect to the internet? if your modem has usb. if that doesnt work then you will need a 3com LAN card and a little dongle to convert to ethernet. the link i provided has a picture of the 2 items you need. first make sure that your laptop has a slot in the side where you can put the card.
