My hp laptop charger isn't being recognized on it at all what could be wrong?
I JUST got it for christmas why is it acting up, I haven't abused it or anything, it's just been in my room I haven't moved it much and didn't leave it plugged in when battery was fully charged

my hp laptop charger burnt out and doesnt work but my husband has a dell laptop and the charger is the same except that my hp is a 18.5v 3.5a charger and his is a 19.5v 3.34a charger. is it ok to use his charger or will it mess up my computer? is it to much power? and could it harm my computer to use a 19.5v 3.34a charger when my original charger was only 18.5v 3.5a? Please let me know someone i dont have the money to buy a new charger but i surely dont want to buy a new computer cause i fryed it thanks
What can I do to fix my hp laptop charger?
my hp laptop charger broke and i was able to find some older parts to a toshiba and hp laptop. one of them is the kind of charger that you pick the number of volts if that makes sense. anyway the charger is plugged in and the light on my laptop is indicating that its charging and then 2 seconds later stops, then starts, then stops. How can i fix this until i can get a new charger?
Can one hp laptop charger work with another hp laptop?
So the other day i found a laptop downstairs in my brothers old room. The screen was broken but it looked like it was in good condition otherwise. I asked him about it and he said the screen was broken but other then that he thought it worked and that if i wanted to look into fixing it i could. so before i purchase a new screen for it i need to see if it is working so i am going to plug it into a monitor and see if it is working but the laptop's charger is missing. I don't want to buy a new charger and then find out that the computer isn't working so i was wondering if i borrowed a charger from a friend's laptop if it will work with this one. On the laptop it says it is a hp pavilion dv2000 but on the underside it says something like dv2500 so i am not sure exactly what it is. And on the top it says it is a special edition and it has some fancy artwork so ya. If you could let me know if that would work it would help a ton.Also how do you hook up a laptop to a monitor because i know that usually the cord for the monitor you have to like screw it in so is there like some special way to doing that or what.Answers are really appreciated. Hp laptop charger malfunction?
I own an HP laptop G62 that is alittle over a year old. I plugged the charger into the comp today and it shows the normal white light and then a red light light. The charging icon does not show up on the laptop screen, but it is charging because my battery percentage keeps increasing. should I be worried?

I had an accident with my laptop HP Pavilion and the charger's pin broke off. I bought another compatible charger to replace it but I've been meaning to find a replacement pin so I can get the original charger working again. Can i use a HP laptop charger to charge my ACER laptop?
I am on vacation at my parents house and i forgot my laptop charger, i have documents on my ACER that i need to work on and i don't want to go out and buy an ACER charger. My parents have a HP laptop and i was wondering if i could use their charger to charge my ACER...or would it mess it up? I asked my parent but they aren't great computer people so i was wondering if you guys could help out, thanks.
My Hp Laptop charger/battery keeps dying!?
Okay, basically, I think theres something with either my battery or charger. Whenever I plug my charger in, the icon at the bottom says it still isnt charging, so I have to experiment with different angles so that the laptop wil charge again. I got really annoyed and bought myself a brand new charger, but it still does it with the new one, in fact it charged for one second and then wouldnt charge no matter how many times I moved it around. Do you think maybe it is the battery that needs replacing?Thanks

About an HP laptop charger?
I bought my son a new HP laptop a Little over a year ago and though he has rarely used it the charger has stopped working. I'm no good with computers Can someone tell me how to find out the correct charger to buy for this laptop. Will probably buy through Wal Mart since they have the lowest prices on this thing, any help would be greatly appreciated. I want to make sure that the end of the charger will fit correctly into the laptop.
