HELP! My brand new DV6 HP Laptop just shut off by itself... and won't turn back on!?
I was only on the computer for maybe 10 minutes. I got offline, then went to start up a video game for windows 98, that I ALWAYS play on my Windows 7 laptop... the CD in the drive began to spin and the screen went blank as if the game was launching itself like normal. But then the computer just failed and me and turned off, without even saving anything for me It was NOT a normal dead battery automatic shut off...Now I am trying to charge it. I plugged in the charger, and the light around the plug on the laptop turns on when the charger is plugged in, but the other light that normally blinks to show it's charging, is not blinking.The computer will not turn on it's BRAND new Is it the old video game that made my computer fail? Why did the game trying to launch itself make it shut off?All I want to know is what can I try to get it to turn on?Please help, thanks
