How do i reboot (restore to factory settings) my hp laptop with no disk?
I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook and whenever I turn it on, it stays on a blue screen with white rays comming from the top. I can move the cursor around though.how do you reboot it with no disk.i tried f10 but i dont know what to do from there

i have the hp dm4 laptop and the webcam is kind of glitchy. depending on the lighting or when im sitting, my webcam flickers and blinks, like it goes light and darker and it doesnt stop until i move to the another spot in the room. this is really annoying, is there any way i can fix that?

I'm trying to burn a cd on my hp laptop and it's not letting me. please help ?
I put a blank CD memorex into the disc drive and the computer reads it no problem, but when I put my songs on the right side of the screen in windows media player and then hit burn the computer will wait a few seconds, and then a msg will appear and it reads CD couldn't be burned. plus the CDs r brand new. please help me if u can. thanks
Why won't my HP laptop connect to my Netgear? (Unidentified Network)?
It says it has Excellent signal strength, but it won't let me get on the internet. Other computers in my house don't have any problems connecting to it. The icon on the bottom right of the screen usually has 2 computers with a little globe beside it when I'm connected to the internet, but it only has the 2 computers flashing with no globe. Hi All,I know that Dell and HP produce there products in China, but I am new to the laptop wholesale business, and was offered for example Dell Alienware M15 1.6GHz Intel Core i7 720QM Processor 4GB RAM and 320 GB HDD for 210 dollars. How do I restore my hp Laptop back to factory settings?
I know how to do it but the problem is my laptop screen doesn't work and I hook my laptop up to my tv with a hdmi cable. You can only see what happening after you login but when it starting up its blank on the tv. Is there anyway other way of restoring back to factory settings? I also tried restoring to a backup point but it takes ages and I can't be screwed waiting for 5 days to back up.Also if I restore it don't I have to fill in all this information about your name and details on some getting started page. Does anyone know if that will be projected on the tv

How do I get my two internal hard drives in my HP laptop to work properly?
Everything automatically saves to the C drive and never to the D drive causing the C drive to always be full and I'm unable to save or update programs due to not enough space I also have a seperate recovery drive. I took it to BB, explained and showed them the problem and that was affecting the update of Itunes and upgrade of my Iphone. They said I didn't have two hard drives that it was one that was partitioned and I told them my IT guy looked at it and there were two.... Needless to say they said they didn't believe me and said no, it's partitioned and that they could remove the partition, remove viruses I have Norton running all the time , remove files etc that were not necessary and clean up other stuff and I would get it back working like it was brand new for only $199 which would cover three computer for a year. I thought wow what a great deal.. Well when I went to pick it up, they said oh, it does have two hard drives and cleaned up the first one, moved your Itunes and Iphone apps to the second, removed viruses and other unnecessary stuff and that freed up xxx amount of GB.... Ready to go, just update Itunes, plug in your phone, upgrade your phone, it will all sync directly to the D drive.... So I had my son do his first, seperate account etc from mine and it automatically saved to the C drive, not once but twice and duplicated everything.... WTH?So, they now are saying, oh well then it sounds like you can't have the option to tell the system which drive to save to, it does it automatically to the C drive and if you buy a new hard drive, we will remove the two, install the one, reformat your entire computer from scratch and you'll never have to worry about running out of space or trying to get the D drive to work...Nooooo, I don't think that HP would have installed them to NOT work properly and BB are the ones who set the computer up when I bought it, I think they didn't do it right to begin with Help, there has to be a way to make this work correctly, right?I bought the computer new at BB and it already had the two drives installed however, they never told me it had two seperate HD's and, they're Geek Squad set everything up initially It also has a seperate recovery drive with that specific title and I don't touch that And anything that could be removed from the internal HD to the external HD has been done So it's NOT true that when the C drive OS fills up the D drive will automatically start storing overflow, correct?NO AUTOMATION, correct?Is there somewhere in the system that it needs to be told to recognize and utilize the D drive?And, the only way to get Itunes and the Iphones to automatically be set to accept allow everything to the D drive is to uninstall both programs and reinstall telling the system to save there and always store anything to do with the D drive there too, correct?That's what they say they did and it still went to the C drive, does that mean they didn't do it right?And m

I have a HP Compaq Presario C700 laptop and every now and then it makes different beeping noises. But tonight it made a sort of short high pitched beep and then a long low pitched beep. What does this mean??
