Help, my HP laptop froze and then came up with a vertical striped screen.?
It's just black and white stripes going up and down across the screen. If I press the power button or shut the laptop, nothing happens. Has this happened to anyone before ? Any advice on what to do other than wait until the battery runs out?
Why is my new HP laptop making a weird screeching noise?

I have been looking to upgrade the graphics card on my HP laptop's graphics card. After digging around a bit, I found that while it is possible to upgrade a laptop's graphics card it is only possible if it is dedicated, not integrated. My computer is a HP G61 Notebook PC, product VM352UA. It's graphics card is an AMD M880G with Mobility Radeon HD 4200. How could Chinese manufacturers and wholesalers, offer Dell and HP laptops for less?
Hi All,I know that Dell and HP produce there products in China, but I am new to the laptop wholesale business, and was offered for example Dell Alienware M15 1.6GHz Intel Core i7 720QM Processor 4GB RAM and 320 GB HDD for 210 dollars. Help with my daughters HP laptop (blue screen) please....?
y daughters HP G60 laptop has what I think is a serious problem and I don't know what to do. When you start it up there is a black screen that says WINDOWS HAS FAILED TO START. A RECENT HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE CHANGE MIGHT BE THE CAUSE. IF WINDOWS FILES HAVE BEEN DAMAGED OR CONFIGURED INCORRECTLY, STARTUP REPAIR CAN HELP DIAGNOSE AND FIX THE PROBLEM. IF POWER WAS INTERRUPTED DURING STARTUP, CHOOSE START WINDOWS NORMALLY. Then it gives you the choice to LAUNCH STARTUP REPAIR or START WINDOWS NORMALLYHowever with either of those two choices I just get a blue screen. I don't get a menu, can't see my desktop. I can't even turn it off unless I press and hold the power button because all you can see on the screen is blue. Please help with this. I clicked the F11 button for system recovery but it just took me back to the blue screen. Nothing happens... Thank you so much in advance.There is a PLAIN blue screen. No numbers or words. I am not sure if there was anything new installed because it is my daughters laptop. She's 10 years old. I don't know what CD disk it is I'm supposed to reinstall.
