Question: Overheating/loud hp laptop?

I have owned my HP Pavilion laptop (dv4- 1125nr) for a little over a year now. It's always been a loud computer, but lately when running it emits the same level of noise as a hairdryer. It also overheats constantly, especially when using Skype. Is there anyway to fix these problems, and any reason on what's causing them?

Unfortunately there are many cases like this, with HP's anyway. If it is getting louder or hotter - it would seem your fan needs cleaning or re-lubing. Maybe it's just not working as well as it should. For this I suggest a HP repairer, or at least your closest computer repair shop. The fans are often difficult to get to, as with most laptops. So someone who has done it before is recommended.
