Is it safe to buy i7 laptops now?
I want to buy a Qosmio X505 Q8102X within a few weeks but I remember hearing about a recall on chips in the i7's, are they safe to buy now?
A good, very thin but with a cd drive, i5 or i7 laptop?

Why is my i7 laptop is very slow?
my hp pavilion dv6 laptop is very slow, i have defraged it, deleted excess programs, currently using ReadyBoost. After 45 mintues of use, it is very laggy and slow. Also my computer heats up and gets very hot and i cannot touch it after 1 and half hours of work. Help?

Does an i7 laptop need a good graphics card for gaming?
I don't really game that much, especially on computers, but when buying a new system I always think of the " what ifs" . I've found a really nice entry level i7 laptop for a good price, but it has shared graphics. I plan on upgrading the RAM to 8gb which I've heard can sometimes help. But, anyways, with the i7 quad core processor, plus the 8gb of RAM, and the Intel HD 3000 shared graphics, should I be able to play most new games on lower settings and older games on higher setting with no problems?Thanks
