Are ibm laptops better than dell?
I have a thinkvantage IBM laptop and it won't load windows. How do I fix this?
I turned my laptop on and it says that it didn't shut down properly and when i click " Start Windows Normally" The screen where Windows is loading with the loading blue bar continues to load non stop. If I try booting it in safe mode it stops at " starting windows" and stays like that.Please Help. Thanks
My IBM laptop running windows xp is having problems connecting to my wireless internet?
So I've checked the wireless card and it works but when I select my wifi in the menu and type in my wep code it says that it is connecting but then it just stops working without connecting me. It's not the wifi fault either because I'm on it right now with a different computer. Please help
Is it safe if i take an old 2004 broken ibm laptop apart just for experimenting?
yeah obviously i know not to plug it in or i wouldn't be wanting to major in business information technology so i found an old ibm from 2004 that is like completely destroyed. i plugged it in before and it won't turn on nor will anything happen to it totally gone and so i was going to throw it away but then i realized i wanted to practice taking computers apart because i am going to be studying business information technology applied information technology next year and want to learn how not to take a computer apart before i go to college. so i was wondering is it safe? i mean like i don't care if i break any peaces at all because i'm just going to throw it out afterwards but is it safe like will i get shocked if i touch certain peices even though they're not on? i'm just going to like unscrew like the parts to look inside the actual computer and see how it works not on but just experimenting . so is there anything i want to know on how not to get myself hurt ie shocked, cut etc... i don't really care about the computer for the computer is junk . so is it safe to do that? what should i know before i start the experiment?
How do you connect an IBM laptop to a tv with a hdmi/dvi cable and a vga/dvi adapter?

ok so you guys should know i have really bad luck with computers lol. Ok so i have a ibm think pad lab top my dad got me for christmas along time ago its a 600E and when i start it up it says stop inaccessible boot device 0x0000007b 0xc0000102 0x00000000 0x00000000 CHECK FOR VIRUSES ON YOUR COMPUTER REMOVE ANY NEWLY INSTALLED HARD DRIVE CONTROLLERS. CHECK YOUR HARD DRIVE TO MAKE SURE IT IS PROPERLY CONFIGURED AND TERMINATED RUN CHKDSK F TO CHECK FOR HARD DRIVE CORRUPTION AND THEN RESTART YOUR COMPUTER. WELL GUYS I DON'T HAVE ANY DISK OR ANYTHING I JUST GOT THE COMPUTER AND THE CHARGER I REALLY NEED HELP FIXING THIS ANY IDEAS? I HAVE RESET IT AND I CANT BOOT IT UP IN ANYOTHER MODE AND CANT GET PAST THAT SCREEN BTW ITS A BLUE SCREEN.

The screen on my IBM laptop went dark?
I hit some button or key that I don't know what it is and it went dark, I can see stuff but not really. Can't see cursor. I shut it off and turned it back on and it shows up in color with the logos and all that crap at the beginning then it goes dark. What the heck is it??

How to get wifi on my IBM laptop?
Hi, i have a IBM laptop computer, and im in the process of getting the operating system back on the computer. i dont know what exactly comes with it and cant seem to find if it has wifi or not for internet acess. was given to me this way so im just going with the flow and hoping it will work. i wanted to know after the computer is up and running, how would i be able to get wifi acess on the computer, i cant use a cord because the internet acess im getting is from the people on the 1st fl, so i need to have wifi connection in order to work. please in detail if someone can help tell me what i would need to do, buy, install, etc....and about how much i would prob have to spend....and does anyone think that the guy coming to fix my operating system would be able to fix it? and if so could this be done in 1 day??? sorry for the 20 questions but i cant find the info im looking for on the web and i suck at browsing...please can anyone help me out...any and all info is appreciated and needed. thanks its a IBM Think pad....and i dont know which s in the back are the model , it doesnt say exactly....how do i know which is the model ? it says type 2683 48u s n fx 04750...if that helps...
