Don't buy and IBM laptop they are total sh**** just go for a Dell or an HP

IBM doesn't make laptops anymore. They sold their laptop division to Lenovo.

That's because A. IBM doesn't make any laptops these days, the division was sold to Lenovo and B. current Lenovo laptops are more geared towards the business market, hence why they aren't sold in places like Futureshop or Best Buy (stores geared towards consumers, not business customers). If you really want a Lenovo (since they simply continue on IBM technology and reliability), Staples does sell a few models, if your local store doesn't have any in stock, they can bring one in as well.

IBM hasn't made laptops for over 5 years. They sold their PC division to Lenovo. Even before the sale, Lenovo had been making the laptops for IBM for several years and branding them as IBM. You can purchase used IBM Thinkpads on ebay.
