Question: The screen on my ibm laptop went dark?

I hit some button or key that I don't know what it is and it went dark, I can see stuff but not really. Can't see cursor. I shut it off and turned it back on and it shows up in color with the logos and all that crap at the beginning then it goes dark. What the heck is it??

Find the "FN " button and look all over your keyboard for something that looks like a lame picture of a Dim screen and right next to it the same lame picture but of a screen that is brighter (ON THE KEYBOARD of the laptop) thats right, LOOK AT EVERY KEY. Now when you find the 2 lame picture buttons, Press down on the FN Key and the Bright screen pictured button.at the same time. FN key is the button you hold down when you want to use those special functions.
