Question: Restoring my old ibm laptop.?

I need to restore my older IBM laptop to its factory settings. It got infected with a nasty virus, so I need to restore it when I just boot it up. I know how to do it with my new HP laptop, but F11 does not work on IBM's I guess? Anyone know what I need to press?

New lap tops running Windows 7 or Vista have a built in system recovery/ restore that installs a new operating system and puts the computer/ lap top back to factory original operating system. This is not available on older lap tops/ computers. Order a set of recovery disc from the manufacturer by model and serial number. With the recovery disc set you can install a new original operating system or do a system repair on the older original OS. This is much cheaper than buying a new boxed operating system. Be sure to back up any thing you might want to keep or install later as when doing a full system recovery/ install every thing on the hard drive is written over and not recoverable.
