Choosing A Laptop Homepage

Question: I have a ibm laptop comp. but when i cut it on it has a lock sign what is that and how do i fix it so i can us?

Input the lock code and the lock will open so the computer will be accessible. If you have locked it by mistake then F1 and enter the code
