New Ipad 2 vs laptop?
Okay so my sisters birthday is this weekend and she wants a laptop and I was considering selling my dad mine to give her for her birthday and using that to put towards a new Ipad 2 They seem so cool and I won't lie I really want to play with one Would that be a big mistake? Would I be better off with my laptop? If you have questions ask them and I'll update the question. Thanks

So im thinking about getting new laptop or ipad because my laptop broke. I'd use it mostly just for typing papers and web surfing. If i got an ipad listening to music and apps I have a home computer that I could use for whatever other purposes and could use google docs on my ipad to type everything with a keyboard which i will buy. What do you think? thanks

Ipad 2 vs laptop, what one is better?
i have a very old laptop i am using now. My dad said that with my own money I can either get a new $800 laptop or the Ipad 2. i have another desktop computer that i have my Itunes on if i were to get the ipad 2. what should i get?i do want to have something for fun. i do not have lots of homework that needs word or powerpoint. however, i still want something like that. would apple's apps for their " word" and " powerpoint" be enough?would i be able to download the documents to my computer and either print or edit if i needed to?

My mom wants an iPad or Laptop she said she'll be using it mainly for browsing web and typing ... can the iPad 2 compare to a laptop in terms of typing and browsing ? Also does it have apps that can compare to Microsoft word and office etc ? She's going to buy one of the two tommoro .
