Which is a better laptop apple macbook pro 13" or alienware m11x?
which laptop is better for gaming and why ? please give me detailed explaination and iam gonna the max configured versions which cost around $1800 ? and which one's battery life is better ?ok .... so can the macbook pro handle the gaming i throw at it like battlefield3.......gain iam getting the maxed out settings for it the 2.8ghz verrsion ?

i have a lap top apple, mac, and when i turn it on it just shows the apple signit dosen't do anything after that i was using it just fine before that something popped up saying to restart my computer and i did and after that happened i couldnt get into any thing on my computer,does any one know WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED,,,,,,,,i have sooooooo many pictures in there i would be so sad if any thing happened to them.....

Why does my laptop (apple mac) have such a bad battery life?
It's an Apple Powerbook G4. I always have it plugged in and work at my desk or just lounge on the sofa with it, but it's usually plugged in. However, when I move rooms to get better internet signal, or take it to school without the wire, it only has about 30 minutes battery life. Even if I just unplug it and go into the next room without turning it off and on again.. it just shuts down after half an hour. It's so annoying. Like for example my laptop has been plugged in all day while I've been at college. I literally just sat down at it, opened it I leave it on but shut it shouldn't make much difference if it's shut? and just unplugged it.. and it says battery life 33 minutes. THIS IS RIDICULOUS HELP x

apple has a configuration 13.3 " screen, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, 160 GB HDD 5400 rpm, 2 GHz processor. it has a unibody construction & is a very good looking laptop. battery closer to 5 hrs. uses INTEL 9400 GM chipset.dell has configuration 16" screen, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD 5400 rpm, 2.4 GHz processor, backlit keyboard. it is heavy & heats up a lot. battery life 2 2.5 hrs. uses ATI RADEON graphics cardboth are similarly priced but i am confused. kindly help. i do not play games, just watch movies & surf the web & use office & acrobat reader. both cost between 72 75000 rupees. kindly help. i can operate both vista & macintosh leopard OSX. although i have been using XP as VISTA is all cluttered up
