Best free laptop battery information program?
I'm wondering if anyone knows a good free battery information program that can tell you just about anything you need to know about your battery. Like its wear level, discharge rate, capacity, stuff like that.
Can someone please help me with laptop battery information?
I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 and it needs a new battery. Being as I know nothing about computers latops, I have no idea exactly what to buy. I've seen that there are 6 cells and 9 cells. I only use my laptop at home and have no problem keeping it plugged in. Is it okay to just buy a 6 cell? What should I do? There seems to be so many numbers and letters on the bottom of my laptop too, is that stuff important too?Please, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
