Questions about laptop batteries?
Grr I m so mad at the internet right now. There's like no where to find anwsers to questions like this. That'll be a secondary question if you know where I can learn stuff like this let me know. any way I have an old laptop if its pertanent a avertch 3120v. I know its old and no I'm not buying a new one for whatever reason you say. It's just something i want to do ok. Any way the power input to the mother boared fried a long time ago but left everything els untouched. It still ran on battires until the batteris died. or until my sisters identical laptop couldn't charge them anymore. any way I was wondering if there was a way I could buy a power plug AC converter that had the same output as the batterie and plug it into the laptop port. I know this will involve riggin but I like doing thing like this. Any way I asked 2 questions about this and got no reply so I m going to ask a simpler question in hopes of understanding a little more about what I m trying to do. HERES THE QUESTION. the average laptop battire connects to a laptop using about more then 4 prongs. I know from what little I know about electrical systems that most things use a hot, return, and ground and I assume laptops may include a positive and negitive charge wires for charging battires. What I don t know and what anwsered and the fact that there are no articals remotly about this on the internet what does each prong on the lapop input and output do, and how can I found out witch is which.

Laptop battery lifespan?
I have a Lenovo Y500 laptop purchased nearly 4 years before. It was sparingly used earlier but since last 1 year, extensively used.These days I find that it needs recharging more frequently than before. So I believe it may be a case for battery replacement. Also battery replacement doesn't need any OS re installation etcCan we have any special battery with a far better charging I see ads like 8 hours ? Please clarify.

Problem with Dell laptop battery !!!?
Laptop Dell Latitude E6400OS Windows 7 ProfessionalI came back after playing soccer and my laptop was left on and was charging. Now, when I came back. The laptop battery was at 16 % charged. But it was not charging after that. Here's what it shows when I clicked the battery icon on the taskbar notification area At the top. > 16 % available plugged in, not charging After that. > Battery 1 16 % available plugged in, not charging Battery 2 Not availableAnd my plan is High Performance. Why isn't it charging ? Please help.
Laptop battery won't hold a charge...?
I have an ASUS Notebook Laptop I don't know what the real name is, and I'm probably too lazy to find it and it won't hold a charge. It works fine as long as it's plugged it, but the blinking " low battery" light is on. When I unplug it, it shuts down immediately. No warning, and it's off in a split second. I know that it's the battery that's the problem, because I actually have TWO chargers for the same laptop, and they both work fine. I think I might need a new battery... but they're expensive. I just want to know if there some other simple way I can fix this without paying any $$$?
Laptop battery will not charge?
I have a packard bell easynote laptop and it just went off for repairs because the charger socket had snapped and wouldn't find the charger in. So I got it back today and put the charger in, but once it was fully charged I took it out. I then put it back in and the two front sort of 'icons' have led flashes one has a picture of a light, the other tells you whether the laptop is charging they are both flashing when they are only supposed to be a still light and the laptop is not charging, please help?

Laptop Battery/Power Management?
I have hp dv4 laptop and I often use it with AC adapter power on without removing the battery. The problem with that is, the battery keep charging and discharging on its own ending its life. In the process I have used up and changed three batteries so far. With that problem I am looking for a battery management software that shut off battery charging when it is fully charged and at the same time run on AC DC power all of this should be without taking out battery from laptop and that when AC DC power source is cut off, the battery automatically switches on. Any idea on availability of such kind of battery power manager software????????? Please help me, I am tired of changing batteries??????????????? Please no jokes. Suitable answer will be awarded with 5 stars. For your information my hp laptop has power manager but it does not manage power as explained above...

My Laptop Battery is not charging full?
Hello, I have a Packard Bell TM94, and since a couple of months I noticed my battery is not charging to 100 %. I would only reach around 40 50 % and then it stops charging it. I have the laptop for a year and a half, and the problem started occurring a couple of month ago. Before that I was holding my laptop on charger even when the battery was full. I even had periods when it was on charger for more than 3 4 days in a row. Any suggestions?Thanks in advance

Hello i have a question does anyone own a Sager NP8130 the one with the 8 cell battery. how long does it last cause i was thinking about buying it and it looks powerful. but that kind of power i think it might drain the battery really quick. so what do you think how long does the 8 cell battery on that laptop last tell me is it more then like 3 hours then that is good if not that i am not going to buy that laptop. if the hours are bad please reply back with a link to a laptop that is powerful and has long battery life the laptop good gpu
