Windows XP laptop battery not charging when plugged in?
The power icon in the task bar is no longer indicating that the battery is recharging with the lightning bolt graphic , and when I unplug the power cord, it always says critical battery and the percentage remaining never increases. I'm not sure if it's a settings issue or what, but how can I get it to recharge my battery again?

Why would a laptop battery not charge when plugged in, but it will turn on?
It will stay on when plugged in, but will not charge. Is it the battery? I am trying to figure out, to me it doesn't seem like the battery would be the problem since when plugged in it works. Oh well any information will help. Thanks

Laptop battery not charging when plugged in?
I have an HP Pavilion dv6000 and the battery isn't charging when it is plugged in. The battery icon on my toolbar flashes the symbol for being plugged in, and then goes back to the one for being on just battery power. It used to work when I rotated or adjusted the power input but that's not working now. How do I fix it? I have Windows 7. Thanks.I've tried to use a different charger. It still didn't work.

So my laptop for some reason does not charge when I plug it in so i have to leave it plugged in at all times to be able to use it. The current power plan is power saver.. HOW do I get it to charge
