Question: I have an extra-wide laptop (13"). what's a good online source for purchasing cute 13" laptop cases?

Do you mean it is extra-wide as measured accross the front, or is 13 " the diagonal screen size? If you can provide an exact model # and height/ width/ depth measurements, I would be willing to try to research it for you (I'm bored). EDIT: Well I guess I can't be of any help afterall. I have zero experience with purchasing laptop cases from specific companies/ websites. : (
