What is the most EFFICIENT laptop cooling mat for a 17" laptop?
While playing games on my laptop it usually gets really hot. It never shuts off from the heat but while gaming all the heat comes up right through where my left hand is placed and it frequently burns me. I would like a few recommendations of laptop pads that will cool off my 17" laptop most efficiently. I would like to play my games for more than an hour without having my hand being burned off.Thanks,BryceI prefer that it is under $40. Also, it doesnt have to be a name brand laptop cooler as long as it is durable and high preformance. I will not be bringing the cooling mat outside the house so I dont have to worry about portability. Lastly, My laptop is an HP Pavillion DV7 4087cl.

My old laptop cooling mat died and my parents bought me a new one for my birthday. It is clearly more expensive than my last one with 2 fans and is big enough for my laptop, but the fan speed is very low and doesn't cool the laptop when using demanding programs. My current cooling mat is messed up, it can't even turn on the fan I'm looking for a good cooling fan under 50 bucks that can never fails on me. i also wish for it to be angled so my laptop can be lifted up for a more intense view of gaming. i just bought this laptopbestbuy.com site HP Pavilion Laptop with Intel %26 %23174 %3B Core %26 %23153 %3B i7 Processor 9556312.p?id 1218123847836& skuId 9556312and im wanting to keep it in good shape. i want to buy a cooling mat that is made for a laptop this size with fans in it. i got one but i returned it because it was small and th rubber grips covered up one of the fans and that was defeating the purpose of the fan. any help would greatly be appreciated. also if anyone knows of a back back that would fit this well along with a sleeve. thank youi dont really want to buy online because i would like to see how it sits on the laptop first. and im about an hour away from state college and an hour away from altoona PA

I was brought a 15 inch laptop cooling mat, however my laptop is 18.4 inches, so i was wondering if it would block vents or cause damage if i used it? Can I get a mat specifically for an 18.4 inch laptop? i have a g74sx im going to hot country soon and last time my laptop over heated now i have a gaming laptop for top games and i NEED to know what is the best fasted fan that keeps your laptop coooool i looked through alot and a lot look like they wouldnt even hold my laptop???????my laptop dont have vents on bottom but to big ones in the back for processor and graphics card i think so i think a cooler mat that will just blast cool air at the bottom but these cooling mats are not so precise and kind of all over the place and only have shitty reviews on youtube with 14 yr olds recording with phones and just admiring the pretty colorful lights they make
Laptop cooling mat stopped working with laptop?
I have a Targus laptop cooling mat that's worked fine for about 8 months. All of a sudden it stops working on my Windows 7 laptop. I tried all of the USB ports, fiddled with the switch, etc and I can't get it to work on the laptop. Interestingly I have an ipod outlet converter that connects to USB. I plugged my mat into the outlet converter and it works fine. All of my USB ports work fine, I tested them with an external hard drive. I even changed from Windows 7 to Linux and I can't get the thing to work. Anyone have ideas? I havn't fiddled with the BIOS yet, maybe Plug & Play got turned off?
