What happened to my applications on the laptop desktop?
Well, i downloaded something and clicked the option of 'Open it with..Google Chrome' and suddenly, all of my files in the desktop changed to Google Chrome, like Skype, Yahoo Messenger, Youtube Downloader, and all other applications. I have no idea what has happened to them, whenever i open them , the Google Chrome opens and not that application. For eg. if i open Skype, then Google Chrome opens instead of Skype..and even if i open Skype with the option 'OPen with...skype'...all the icons on my desktop changed to skype What the hell has happened...please tell me the solution of this...i really really need it Oh by the way, my laptop is of Lenevo Thinkpad
Issue with my Packard bell laptop desktop, please help?
My dog walked across my lap and the laptop and pressed random keys > .< the screen ended upside down ctrl Alt Down pressed my wireless button on the top left somehow turned my internet off > .< and now i noticed for some reason the start button on keyboard dont work, and everything on my desktop, EVERYTHING on my laptop still works fine all programs open, i just cant press the start button on my keyboard but when i press the start button in the bottom left it opens fine, nothing on my desktop can be pressed or right click, whenever i click left or right nothing at all happens, my guess would be my dogs pressed a button that disables it? like you can the touch pad or what s anyone know how to help?Breakdown Start button on keyboard dont work 3rd button from bottom left Every desktop icon disabledSame with left right clicks All answers appreciated

I cant get my whole laptop desktop screen on my HDTV...?
Hey guys... I hope this is the right place to post this topic.I recently purchased an Acer Aspire 4755G laptop which has GT 540M graphics. When I plugged my laptop to my HDTV via HDMI, I'm missing a gd portion out of the edges of my screen.... like as if the resolution is bigger than my TV.... my previous laptop had this problem too but it was easily fixed by the panel fit option in my previous laptop's nvidia control panel. However, this laptop I'm using now DOES NOT have this option even after I plug my laptop in to my tv.... Does this have something to do with the fact that this laptop I have now is using a sandy bridge i7 processor?If anyone can tell me how to solve this I would really appreciate it I've searched online for solutions but to no avail....
