How to install a cd with a laptop docking station?
I cant look at cds or install any because the laptop can't read the cd that is in the dock how can i fix it?

What to salvage from old laptop docking station?
I have an old dell docking station latitude d620 laptop . While I am using the laptop, I have no use for the docking station. And the model is pretty dated. It isn't likely to be of use to others..Is there any way to salvage parts from the docking station, such as the USB slots, power supply etc? Any pointers on how to go about it?

Does a non-USB laptop dock compatible with ASUS N61 exist?
I just bought an ASUS N61 series laptop, and want to hook it up to my old monitor and keyboard and such with a laptop. I've done a fair amount of searching, and the only non USB docking station I've found compatible with my new laptop is the Belkin High Speed Docking Station F5U273, which pretty consistantly got awful reviews, especially when the users had something other than XP, and I have Windows 7 now.So I don't trust USB docking stations I can't understand how that much information could possibly be efficiently transmitted via a single USB port , and the one PCI Express port docking station I've found got awful reviews, and I can't find a docking station explicitly compatible with my laptop. Is there such a thing as a non USB laptop dock compatible with my ASUS N61 series laptop?Many thanks ahead of time.

Laptop docking station?
i want to hook a laptop up to a docking station so i can have a large screen. large keyboard and mouse.. that type of thing. is there a docking station that works really well? i don't want to mess with wires every time i want to dock it. i want to keep the docking station at a desk and just be able to plug it in. is there one were i can just plug one cord by any chance? any help would be great so the back of the laptop will plug right in? like all the ports line right up with a docking station?

Laptop docking station that supports two displays?
Hey guys,I have been trying to find a laptop docking station that can support two monitor displays. Here is my scenario. I have my laptop now that I use with one vga monitor and one hdmi. I hide the laptop away so there is no trace of it. I have seen docking stations that support two displays but you have to manually connect one of the displays to the acutally computer via vga. I was hoping of finding one docking station that can do two displays without connecting the vga. Just the simple plug and play usb. Any help?
