Laptop dual monitor automation?
i have a laptop that i can put a second screen threw a vga port dual monitor , i have to remove and take with me the laptop everyday and dont want to go threw windows settings to turn on and off the monitor everytime because if i dont the second screen stays active even if its not plugged so applications and my mouse gets lost in it . is there a way for the second screen only to be activated when plugged and to deactivate itself when unpluged? i have windows xp pro 32b on acer aspire3680
Laptop dual monitor setup?
So to start off my Laptop is an HP DV7 Laptop running with 4gb ram. AMD turion dual core processor running 2.20 ghz. ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics. Total available graphics memory is 1918 MB with 256 MB as dedicated memory. My laptop does have an hdmi and vga port along with 3 usbI want to know how or even if possible to connect an external monitor via VGA and use each one individually, for example to run the internet on one and say microsoft office on the other. Is that possible on a laptop such as mine or any laptop? If a desktop is required how would i accomplish it on a desktopShoulda mentioned i am running windows vista 64bit TY Rhyled your solution was what i was looking for
