Is there a laptop express card who's chipset is capable of network sniffing?
a lot of the older Orinoco pcmcia cards had the functionality of network monitoring drivers that allowed them to sniff any networks it might find. I'm in the market for a new laptop, is there yet a reliable express card with the same functionality?

Hp Laptop Express Card slot?
I just got an hp laptop and it came with a media remote that goes into the express card slot on the side of it. The problem is that the express card slot has a plastic cover on it, it can be removed but i don't want to mess with anything, how can i do this?

I'm building a concept tablet, and I was just wondering what ports to include.Here's my list USBHeadphone JackMic JackCable Lock ThingHDMIPen SLotMedia Bay DVD CDSD card slotVentsI usually use wireless, and I've never used an ethernet port on a laptop, but they seem pretty standard. Should I include it, or does nobody use them.Oh and the express card slot too. Is that used at all? The tablet would include 3g in my imaginary specs, but yeah, I've never used it so... just wondering.This question is mostly aimed at artists who would like a slate tablet, but anybody can answer.Keep in mind please that this would be a tablet and it would cost a lot, and I'm sure people who would buy it don't have slow internet.Also I don't believe the Ipad has one, hell it doesn't even have USB ports, but then again it wouldn't be running windows.Crap, I forgot about the speakers. Thanks, but yeah, it's just it would be hard to make the ethernet port in photoshop. That's why I'm evading it. I once almost had to use the ethernet port, but I just ended up going to another computer, downloading stuff, and putting it on a usb. I could make some sort of dock for it though.... that would include VGA, more usbs, etc.I'm designing the tablet just for fun. It's a 12.1 or possibly 14.1 inch diagonally tablet. It's like a convertible tablet but without the keyboard.It could be a desktop replacement, but not really. Since I'm imagining it to be mobile, I think the ethernet cable sticking out of it would be uncomfortable, since it's not a laptop.Vents are a must. I don't want to have to experience the heat from an i7 processor. That would be inhumane.I would have it have a mic jack.I'm not including a webcam, I find them useless. They could be included on the imaginary choices, but whatever.Media bays are awesome for are awesome for artists since you can take out the CD DVD thing possibly blueray and then insert an extra battery, more memory, etc. It's awesome
