Laptop external monitor not working, VGA or software problem?
My Laptops screen is very dim, so much so that I plug in an external monitor using VGA plug.I turned on my laptop today, and it loaded windows XP no problems, works fine.Right before it gets to the select user screen, it has " No Signal" displayed and turns yellow, as if my laptop was off.I restart it, and it does the same thing, loads windows, then the light turns yellow, as if my laptop is off.My question is, could this be a software problem?Assuming its not a hardware simply because it shows the F11 boot and windows xp loading screen.Any hints or clues to help me solve this problem is very appreciated, thanks It's definitely not the monitor, i used 2 different ones, both are doing the same thing..So I suppose it has something to do with the laptop, hardware or software one..
