New Laptop gets REALLY hot when playing games??? Is it an HP Build Quality Problem?
I got a problem I bought myself a Brand New HP 4530s, and the SPECS are below Operating System Windows 7 Professional 64 bitCPU Type Intel Core i7 2630QM 2.1GHzScreen 15.6" HD Memory Size 4GB DDR3Hard Disk 450GBOptical BluRay DriveSuper MultiGraphics Discreet Card Card 1 Intel HD Graphics 3000 Video MemoryShared Card 2 Dedicated ATi Radeon 6490M 1GBPowerAC Adapter65 watt AC adapterBattery6 cell 47 WHr Li IonPhysical SpecificationsDimensions14.76" x 10.1" x 1.13" Weight5.22 lbs. Now, my problem is, when I run my games, using the Radeon GPU, the machine heats up really fast and it gets so hot, if you place your hand on the fan's output for too long, its actually sore. It gets that hot. Im wondering why, because my friend has a Toshiba i5 and we play the same games but his never gets near as hot as mine, yet mine is newer. Is it the build quality of HP Laptops that result in this heating issue or is it just me? I play on a solid, well ventilated surface, and still HEATS up... How can I solve this? Thanks
