Looking for laptop graphics card upgrade!?
I'm looking for an upgrade for my Acer Emachines E627 Laptop's graphics card. I looked around but I can not find any laptop graphic cards. I have no idea where to look or what to look for.

hi allso i know i can update my g card 6600go but im not sure where i can get one that would fit and i dont know what connection type it is?Jimmy DSorry.. its a Toshiba Tecra s2 and i know i can upgrade it because i physically took it apart myself so the problem would only be sizewise and theres plenty of that p.s The connection type is a small long slot type connection 8mmxapprox.50mm
Laptop graphics card upgrade?
I'm pretty sure my laptop Toshiba L650D 101 's graphics card can be upgraded, because it already has a dedicated one, and I know someone who can do it too. I was just wondering where I can actually buy notebook graphics cards ?? Does anyone online actually supply them? I'd get a GT540m. or and AMD equivalent. Or, any graphics card that would be suitable that would be better than my current HD 5145 . Tried Newegg, Dabs, no luck. Will try some more. Any suggestions? Thanks
Laptop graphics card upgrade?
I recently purchased a Toshiba L650D 101. My primary purpose for this laptop is gaming, believe it or not. It was priced at 499, and with a dedicated graphics card AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5145 it was a good deal. The CPU, the AMD athlon II P320 2.1GHz per core, is fast as well. It's a really great laptop, but I wanted to enquire about the possibility of upgrading some parts inside it. I'm probably wrong, but since it has a dedicated graphics card, it can be replaced? Is this possible on my laptop? Is there any graphics card other than the one already present in it that could be installed? Nothing very powerful, just the likes of maybe and Nvidia GT 525m or 540m, I wouldn't need any more power. I'd simply like it for a better 3d rendering performance. I know laptops are extremely hard to upgrade, but would it be possible hardware wise to do this? Not by toshiba but anyone? I know someone who can, but would any other card be eligible to be installed in my laptop and would there be any implications bottlenecks ? Would my PSU be able to take it? If the cards I mentioned cannot be installed, could you recommend the best one? Also, would there be any site dealer that could actually sell me one of these notebook graphics cards?? On a different topic altogether, is there any different battery that would fir my laptop, over 6 cells? The battery life isn't great at the moment, no doubt a new graphics card wouldn't help that. Laptop graphics card upgrade?
Just wondering if it's worth it to upgrade my laptop's graphics card in order to play Diablo III. Or if I'm just SOL, and should wait to buy a new laptop since I'm due for one anyways. I have an Asus UF52 Intel R Core TM i3CPU M350 2.27GHz4GB of RAMWin 7 64bitIntel R HD Graphics The only thing really not up to snuff is my graphics card, but I don't know where to find one that is compatible, which one I should get, if I can replace it in this model ect.. Thanks Lol can we just read some of these responses. There is clearly a knowledge gap. Laptops DO use graphics cards, and you CAN replace them. It just is a lot more technical than replacing one in a desktop. Thank you for those that gave good suggestions. I hadn't thought about getting an external one.
