Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro Laptop Hard Drive Size?
I bought this laptop ages ago.Broken now but was gonna buy an external Hard Drive enclosure for the hard drive in it.Anyone know wether its got a 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch hadr drive?Cheers.
Is my new laptop hard drive (size larger than the BIOS supports) at risk for being corrupted?
Is my new hard drive in risk of being corrupted or is it stable?I installed a 250GB on my older laptop Dell Inspiron 9300 whose BIOS only supports hard drives of only 137GB maximum. I believe unconfirmed my cloning software partitioned the larger drive to use only a 120GB... and my OS Windows XP recognizes the drive as being only 120GB.Everything has been working fine so far a few hours. I have no problem accepting that I basically paid for a 250GB drive for which I can use 120GB... I just want to make sure that my computer is stable and I don't need to swap out for a smaller drive. Many online forums say the hard drive is at risk for corruption... but most of the discussions deal with trying to re partition the drive to get to the added storage. Please advise.Because of my hardware, the BIOS cannot be updated to support a larger drive.
Find out Laptop Hard Drive Size by the Label?
How does one find the capacity of a Hitachi laptop hard drive just by looking at the label? There's no where on it that says the size. A guy at Best Buy was able to tell just be reading things on the back of the hard drive. Here is a link to the back of my hard drive. I have no clue what he read.
