I know this seems like a dumb questions, but I'm not very good at computers. I'm probably good at just using programs like Microsoft Office and Adobe CS5, but im not good at how computers work, how to fix them and so on. Laptop hp g71 is not charging, help fixing needed...?
Ok, this is the situation, I have a laptop HP g71 ... the laptop falled from the desk... since that the laptop does not turn on... i plugg in the charger and it would turn on the small light that is attached to the power jack.... the light would be solid not blinking ..... and the other light left bottom from the keyboard pplatform would be blinking it ussually doesn't blink, it has to be ssolid.. ... so when i push the power button it would not do anything, just like if i did not push anything... the lcd screen would be off all the time... I need the help from experienced people to tell me what should i check... i wannt to fix it my self.... please dont tell me take it to the technician,, thats not the answer i want to hear,.. i have experience dissasembling laptops and replacing pieces I did what you Laurence L told me and at the time of turning it on, it kinda looked like it was gonna start lights turned on and the fan turned on, but all for less than a second lcd never showed signs of turning on and it would remain dead again... please let me know if you need anymore details...
Laptop hp windows 7 only using half of the screen hlp fix it?
it is only using half of the screen but it shows the full screen but just sqished to half horizontal. i tryed changing my resolution and uninstalling my monitor and restarting my laptop but still squised to half screen and the other side is just black im using it right now to wright this just need to strech out the screen all the way some how andy ideas?
