My laptop is hot but no dust in the vent? whats up anybody knows something?

My laptop is hot and when I minimize windows it goes slowly and in like 3 sections. Whats wrong?
Basically when I minimize a screen or say change the background on my desktop..then hit refresh on the desktop, it just goes slow. The laptop used to work fine, I've had it about 2 years. The best way I can describe what happens to windows I minimize..it is choppy as it minimizes and yeah..thats it. What do I need a fan? Processor? The hard drive is NOT full, i do NOT have viruses...I'm good with the software stuff but I don't know how to troubleshoot hardware. Thanks
Chord for my laptop is hot, what is up with that?
My laptop has been acting up lately and has not been charging correctly. I have to wiggle the cord or press really hard to get it to run off of plugged in power instead of battery power. I just had to re adjust my chord and i took it out and it was scorching hot. I held the end that plugged into my comp to my nose and it smell like melted plastic. Any idea what is up? is it the chord or the computer? thanks for any help you can provide
Vaio 17" laptop is hot-laptop cooler suggestions?
I have a 17" sony vaio laptop. It's the hottest on the top right corner of laptop and warm on the general right half of the laptop. I currently have a laptop cooler which my computer can't function without but it's too small and i'm afraid that my computer is warping to form a concave form from the unequal weight distribution. Can anyone suggest a laptop cooler that has good reviews and will fit my 17" laptop? Thank you
Why does my mouse pad only work when my laptop is hot?
For the past few days my mouse pad will not work when it first turns on. I've tried turning it off and back on again, repeatedly. After a few hours of doin this, I've realised heat helps it work and by placing a heater underneath, the mouse pad works alot sooner.Why does this keep happening and is there any way to fix this?
Is it bad when the bottom of your laptop is hot?
when i use my laptop, it tends to get hot at the bottom, im a little nervous about this. I also am a webcam model so i need it on for quit sometime, but im scared im affecting my laptop. what can i do?

I already have 2 fans cooling fan, 1 big, 1 small under my laptop fanning off 2 different area at the the bottom, but the touch pad area the whole area is still very hot, 1. is it something wrong with my laptop ? 2. is there a solution ? thank you so much.
When my laptop is hot i turn it off and when i try to turn it on again it wont turn on?

sometimes when I plug my laptop in I have a macbook pro , the charger and the laptop will get hot. I don't always have my cooling fan, but I usually just unplug it and it will eventually cool off. So what should I do if it gets hot and I don't have my cooling fan? Any tips?Thanks.
My laptop is hot?
My laptop gets really hot on the bottom to the point where it will just shut off completely. I always do disk cleanups and try not to overload it with extra programs. Why does it do this? It is very irritating and my warranty has already expired, so i can't bring it in .It does this after SHORT period of time using it. I don't have it on lots and it will just shut right off and gets very very hot within 10 minutes of being on

Metal piece of AC adapter on laptop is HOT!?
my HP Pavilion laptop's AC adapter isn't working well. I plug it in, and the blue light sometimes won't come on unless i wiggle it in a certain direction. Even then it won't say that it's plugged in, so I have to hold it in place for it to be charging, then when I let go, it stops charging This is very annoying, as i'm constantly wiggling the thing around for the blue light to come on THEN when it is done charging, i've noticed that the metal piece is extremely hot like, i'm talking 2nd degree burns lately its been getting that hot even after charging my laptpp for 15 minutes what the heck is wrong? is it my laptop? or my ac adapter???

my new laptop stupid hp intel is hot and after reseraching and asking ppl....i think the fan is not wrking how do i chceck if the fan is running witout taking it off....i think i am gona return and ask the technician to help me wit it....its hot enof to irritate ur skin...my comp is hot when i put a fan beside it it cool.s down like a baby ....but i can always put a fan there...i mean i wasted 1600 dollars on it and the fan doesnt wrk?? i already exchanged a new laptop for my first one but this one has same problem....please email ur response to gowsi2003 hotmail.com....bc yahoo msn is disabled
