My laptop keeps shutting down by itself, so i turn it on again after 5mins it shut down again...?

My laptop will automaticaly shut down after 15 or so min of useing it, it dosent matter how long i let it cool in between turning it on. i have a chill mat for it to keep it cool, and it worked really well at first, i could leave it on for an entire day if i wanted. the chill mat still works, but now the laptop wont stay on, and suggestions? the laptop just had maintence a month ago, fans cleaned and all It gets a little warm, but not hot like it used to before i got the chill mat, the fans are working, and its maybe a little less than a year old.

My toshiba a200 satellite laptop keeps shutting down by itself?
my laptop is nearly 1 1 2 years old... and then untill bout couple weeks ago its never shut down by itself before. but now its been shutting down frequently. i got 3 possible causes. my first one is that it might be overheating and that might be because of the cpu fan not working. second, theres a windows service pack upgrade that it wont upgrade due to an error. third, could it be a virus? my norton anti virus expired like a few months ago so i have no anti virus. i have strong thoughts of the overheating, so how can i make the fan work? how do i open my laptop? i have about 1 1 2 years warranty still on this. i dnt wanna send it away cuz its gonna take like a month for it to come back. can sum1 help me out?no, there no dust in the vent... and i always keep the vent clear, like i never block it with anything

My laptop keeps shutting down by itself.?
I think it's because it keeps overheating. I keep it in my lap whenever I use it. I'm told that I should get a fan for it but would the fan not work because it's in my lap? And wouldn't it feel really uncomfortable? Anyone have any ideas?

Upon logging in, any username it keeps shutting down? it freak me out, please help me how to troubleshoot it? pon logging in, it says " the windows is saving your settings, will shut down by 3 seconds" then a message AJDJHFDJHFDJ.dll appear

I have a toshiba laptop. It keeps on shutting down by itself. It takes e to a blue page that says, " Windows has found an error restarting to prevent damage to computer" . It keeps on restarting itself. How can i stop this?

Lenovo laptop keeps shutting down by itself?
My Lenovo ideapad keeps shutting down by it self once it reaches the welcome screen when I start it up. It runs on windows 7 and is only about 2 years old. I've tried booting into safe mode but when i do the computer still shuts down like it normally does. System restore was ineffective as well. If anyone has seen anything like this before and has a solution i would be eager to hear it. Thanks

It happens every time. I just do the usual things. But it keeps shutting down. Like, all of the sudden, it's off. It started happening when it didn't have an AntiVirus yet, then I bought one, but it still keeps shutting down all of the sudden. So I don't think it's virus or anything. Please help?

i have a pink sony laptop it will be 3 yrs old this year so its still kinda new. i do stay on my laptop for hours and i never shut it off i always keep it on the charger i never unplug the charger from my laptop. because when i do in like 15mins the laptop will turn off. but why does it keep shutting down? i do have an mp3 rocket player music download thingy and its a ton of songs on there. could that be it? idk but please help cause this is getting annoying.

Help ! my laptop keep shutting down by itself, going completely black?
is this a serious problem? at first it just happened when I walked away from it and came back there would be no screen at all, then it would turn on for just a moment and go black now I don't know why it's even on this long to let me type this question hopefully I will be able to get the answers,now I moved it to my desk, but it is pretty hot and it has been on wood that's all it's ever on and no it doesn't go back to where it was it goes back to a start up menu in black and white and I have to push the start button that makes everything all go blue again it's a HP but now that I unplugged the cords for a moment it's staying on, but do you think I should just shut it off for a while, I just bought this and paid quite a bit of money for this and bought all the virus protection etc,,, it's only like 6 weeks old, can it still get a virus this early, I sound like an idiot and I am when it comes to computers I'm taking my first class in college right now so I apologize for my ignorance and thank you in advance for your patience.

Why does my laptop keep shutting down by itself?
My laptop is a year and a half years old and an Asus netbook. It started to shut down without any notice today. I tried unplugging and plugging in the power cord then turning it back on. It worked for a while unil the laptop would shut down again in the middle of starting back up. I still have the box it came in and all the booklets and papers that came with it. Any ideas on what I should do?
